Bandipora: A weeklong event for the local youth organised jointly by Army camp Aragam and Teachers Association Aragam (TAA) started in Aragam Bandipora. The event is aimed at providing better exposure to the youth for the expression and fulfillment of their talents and aspirations.

A defense spokesperson in a statement issued here said that the festival celebrating the aspirations of young minds also focuses on cultural, ecological and a number of other aspects covering a wide variety of activities, which not only reflect the spirit of friendship but also peace and development.

On the first day "School chalo March" was conducted   by 85 primary school children along with teachers voicing a local slogan 'Chyem ne zaroorat Daulat-o-Rubab, Faqat Gochum School te Kitab’ (I don't need money and fame, I need books and school)', with an aim to convince and encourage parents to send their wards to schools regularly for studies.
